Risk Free Migration

Westell’s range of Convergence products enables an evolutionary migration to an IP network.

Convergence and the Westell InterChange Series

VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) and IP (Internet Protocol) Telephony systems offer tremendous opportunity for cost savings by allowing organisations to combine separate voice and data systems into a single network. Many organisations are adopting a migration-based approach to IP Telephony, continuing to use DPNSS PBX equipment at the same time as introducing VoIP and rolling out new IP-based telephone systems. However this transition can give rise to inter-working issues between traditional and IP telephony systems, including the loss of valuable DPNSS supplementary services that many businesses have come to rely on.

Westell’s InterChange products provide the integration and conversion needed to move towards VoIP and IP Telephony while maintaining voice quality and functionality of the network. These solutions enable organisations to choose a migration path that meets both their existing and future requirements.

Which route will you take?

>>I want to run voice traffic over the data network (VoIP)
>>I want to interwork my legacy PBXs with an IP telephony system
>>I’d like to deploy a mix of both of the above
